UC Libraries

The University of Cincinnati Libraries is an integral partner in the university’s efforts to achieve its #NEXT Lives Here strategic directions. With the launch of the University of Cincinnati Libraries Strategic Plan, 2024-2027, we are increasing our impact by focusing on four Strategic Directions: Enrich Our Collections, Expand Our Impact, Strengthen Our Organization and Support Our Students.

SPECIAL COLLECTIONS

UC Libraries preserves and provides access to special collections and the scholarly and historical record of the university, including archival as well as born-digital content and datasets.

LIBRARY SPACES

As the intellectual hub for students and faculty, libraries provide a variety of spaces that inspire and promote learning and discovery.

DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

Library services, collections and programs foster the spark of inspiration for a digital culture that integrates traditional ways of learning with new ways of discovery and exploration.

With over 4 million volumes and access to thousands of electronic resources available 24/7 through our online library catalog, UC Libraries' virtual and physical spaces offer resources for everyone. UC Libraries includes the Walter C. Langsam Library, the Archives and Rare Books Library, the Donald C.
